What is The Green Olive Network?

The Green Olive Network is a new initiative designed to create an open, accessible and diverse networking space for individuals and organisations.

If you work – or aim to work – in a role or a space that’s connected to environment, Sustainable Development, the Green Economy, nature, energy, transition, we hope you will find connections and synergy here.

It is free to join.

The Green Olive Network seeks to be an enabler for diversity, inclusion and equity in what we do and how we work.

Why The Green Olive Network?

We want a vibrant, open, welcoming space that connects people, and brings together innovation, policy and law. Every issue that humans face has an ecological/sustainability dimension. Businesses, government and local communities are investing in “ESG” as never before. We need  well-networked, creative individuals who can embrace hybrid challenges rather than operating in silos. We want The Green Olive Network to start conversations and nurture collaboration.

For new practitioners and students, we want to complement existing organisations like Young UKELA and Public Interest Environmental Law UK, and provide additional resources and opportunities. In addition to our network events, please visit our page on careers, and our jobs board.

What does The Green Olive Network do?

Right now we’re just getting started but as we grow The Green Olive Network will offer:

• Online and in-person events to socialise and discover more about specific issues, new developments and projects
• A third-party events calendar, job board and fortnightly round-up newsletter so you don’t miss out on events and opportunities of interest.
• Seminars with industry professionals
• A knowledge bank of resources to help you establish yourself in your career or provide inspiration for your next step.
• A friendly and informal group mentoring scheme to bring together new and established practitioners and students across disciplines.
